Jeannie Lee

Interim Chief of Molecular Biology at Massachusetts General Hospital

Jeannie T. Lee is a distinguished professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, where Jeannie T. has served since 1997 as both Vice Chair of Genetics and Co-Director & Founder of The Harvard Epigenetics Initiative. Concurrently, Jeannie holds several notable positions, including Professor of Pathology and Chair of Molecular Biology at Massachusetts General Hospital and membership in the National Academy of Medicine and the National Academy of Sciences. With a strong entrepreneurial background, Jeannie has contributed as a Scientific Advisor at Skyhawk Therapeutics and a Non-Executive Director at GSK, among other roles. Educational credentials include a degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Harvard University, a postgraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MD/PhD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Previous leadership roles include serving as Scientific Founder of Translate Bio and Scientific Co-Founder of Fulcrum Therapeutics, as well as President of the Genetics Society of America.
