Jason Viadero has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Jason began their career as a Power Generation Engineer, managing wind projects and handling outage work for a power plant. Jason then moved on to serve as the Chief of Emerging Technologies at the Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC), where they led a team responsible for developing energy storage and gas-fired generation projects. After that, they became an Engineering Supervisor, overseeing the maintenance and construction of conventional and renewable generation projects. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering & Generation Assets at MMWEC, where they manage engineering and operations staff, oversees budgets, and provides guidance for project development and capital improvements. Prior to joining MMWEC, Jason worked at the Rodney Hunt Company as a Product Line Manager, where they were responsible for managing and growing a custom fabricated gate product line and leading an engineering team.
Jason Viadero attended Fairfield University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
