Joe Coles has over 30 years of experience in energy efficiency and sales, currently serving as the Energy Efficiency Program Manager at Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC) since 2019, where Joe manages energy efficiency programs for 19 municipal light departments. Prior to MMWEC, Joe held the position of Energy Efficiency Program Manager at CLEAResult from 2007 to 2019, overseeing the Residential Lighting and Appliance Program for prominent utilities. Joe's earlier roles include Program Manager at Applied Proactive Technologies, Mortgage Loan Officer at American Family Mortgage, and various sales positions in energy services and recycling from 1994 to 2007. Joe began a career in energy auditing and inspection at Enercom and Conservation Management Corporation from 1984 to 1993. Joe's educational background includes studies at Rutgers University and Hampden-Sydney College.
