Stacy Swider

Stacy Swider has over 25 years of experience in startups and broader industry. Stacy is currently the VP Investments at MassVentures and a Board Observer at JETCOOL Technologies Inc. and Aclarity. Stacy is also a Board Observer at MachineMetrics. From 2018-2021, Stacy was the Director of SBIR Programs at UMass Lowell Research Institute (UMLRI). From 2011-2018, they were a Sr. Scientist at CapeSym, Inc., and from 2008-2011 a Research Scientist at Air Force Research Laboratory. Stacy was also the Co-Founder of GateRocket from 2003-2008, and from 1994-2003 a Process Engineer/ Technical Marketing at Applied Science and Technology. From 1991-1994, Stacy was a Materials Engineer at Crystallume, Inc.

Stacy Swider attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science.
