Shashikant Singh

Shashikant Singh has a diverse range of work experience spanning across multiple roles and companies.

Shashikant began their career at SUTHERLAND GLOBAL SERVICES in 2008 as a Techincal Service Engineer, where they were responsible for monitoring, installing, and troubleshooting Dell systems. Shashikant also dealt with debugging software and operating systems-related issues on client machines, as well as installing antivirus software.

In 2010, Shashikant joined Rhythm & Hues as a Jr. Operations and Render Admin. Shashikant managed backups and restores, maintained the tape library and reports, and updated the online database. Additionally, they monitored disk usage and assisted in data cleanup, while also troubleshooting software, hardware, and networking issues.

Within Rhythm & Hues, Shashikant progressed to the role of Operations and Render Administrator in 2012. Shashikant managed the render farm and resources efficiently. Shashikant also wrote scripts in Perl and Python to automate day-to-day activities, and upgraded the in-house render manager as needed.

In 2013, Shashikant was promoted to Senior Operations & Render Administrator at Rhythm & Hues and continued their work managing the render farm and implementing automation solutions using open source tools.

In 2014, Shashikant transitioned to Mastek UK as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Shashikant implemented and automated Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment pipelines for multiple projects. Shashikant also worked with development and infrastructure teams to improve configuration and release management processes.

At Mastek UK, Shashikant's role evolved, and they became a Software Specialist - DevOps Consultant in 2016. Shashikant'sresponsibilities included automating the creation and maintenance of distributed cloud infrastructure on AWS, as well as application deployment and configuration management using tools like GitlabCI and Ansible. Shashikant also built CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, SonarQube, Bitbucket, and Kubernetes.

In 2020, Shashikant advanced to the position of Technical Specialist - Cloud & DevOps Lead at Mastek UK. Shashikant'sexpertise focused on cloud and DevOps, leading teams to implement and optimize cloud-based solutions and DevOps practices.

Throughout their various roles and companies, Shashikant has demonstrated proficiency in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and improving software deployment processes.

Shashikant Singh holds a B.E. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, they have achieved the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2023.
