Sam Batkins

Sam Batkins is a seasoned professional in public policy and regulatory research, currently serving as Vice President of Public Policy, Research & Operations at Mastercard since July 2017. Previously held positions include Director of Strategy and Research, Contributing Editor for Regulation Magazine at the Cato Institute, and Director of Regulatory Policy at the American Action Forum. Batkins began their career as a Fellow at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and served as Deputy Press Secretary for the National Taxpayers Union. Educational credentials include a J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a B.A. in Political Science from The University of the South.
