Sandy Fernandez

Sandy Fernandez is an experienced professional in social impact and community development, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Mastercard Strive USA at Mastercard since April 2016. Prior to this role, Sandy worked as Senior Director for the Americas at the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth. Sandy's expertise in small business integration, the future of work, and technology was further developed during a fellowship with Eisenhower Fellowships from December 2019 to December 2022. Earlier career experiences include serving as Executive Director of National Partnerships & Strategy at JPMorgan Chase and Senior Vice President of Citi Community Development at Citi. Sandy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Boston University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from New York University.
