Yacine Faqir

Yacine Faqir currently serves as the Vice President of Products & Solutions for North & Francophone Africa at Mastercard, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Yacine was an Expert Consultant at The World Bank, providing audits and strategic insights into Credit Bureaus and Fintech integration in West Africa from November 2021 to November 2022. Yacine has a rich history in the fintech sector, including a Senior Consultant role where strategic advisory services were delivered to clients across the African financial services ecosystem. As General Manager at QUANTIK DBCB Credit Bureau Maroc from February 2016 to February 2021, Yacine spearheaded the establishment of credit bureau operations in Morocco, managing projects and compliance with Central Bank regulations. Earlier experiences include a Senior Associate at Diversus and a Country Manager at Salamanca Group, focusing on comprehensive research and risk management in various regions. Yacine holds multiple master's degrees in Diplomacy Studies and International Business and Finance, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Marketing Management.
