Richard Eggert

Richard Eggert is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems. Currently employed at MasterPeace Solutions since July 2015, Richard specializes in event-driven architectures utilizing Java and Scala in a "Big Data" context, leveraging technologies such as Apache Accumulo and RabbitMQ. Prior to this role, Richard contributed significantly to Lab49 by developing a Java-based platform for tracking financial securities and mentoring peers in source control migration. Richard's earlier work at PROTEUS Technologies focused on C++ and Java for enterprise applications and network security, while initial experience at AT&T centered on network intrusion detection. Richard holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
