Mike Duffy has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Mike began their career at GE Aerospace in 1980, where they held various technical and technical management positions. During this time, they led and supported software engineering modernization activities, including CMM certification and the adoption of object-oriented programming technologies.
In 1992, Mike joined General Electric/Lockheed Martin as the Director of the Advanced Concepts Center. Mike was responsible for managing the business, including orders, sales, profit, customer satisfaction, and expense management. Mike also oversaw the development of the Object Modeling Technique through a contract with GE CR&D.
Moving on to Lockheed Martin, Mike became the Director of Enterprise Systems Programs in 1999. In this role, they were responsible for IT infrastructure outsourcing and applications development and maintenance. Mike achieved ISO compliance in the ADM area and resolved contract performance issues while developing offshore teaming arrangements.
Mike then joined Affiliated Computer Services/Xerox Corporation in 2003 as the ACS IT Outsourcing Division VP. Mike managed medium to large IT Outsourcing accounts, ensuring positive client satisfaction and financial performance. Their responsibilities included overall service delivery, vendor management, strategic technology plans, and customer satisfaction.
In 2010, Mike started their independent IT management consulting practice with Business and IT Strategies Consulting Services. Mike contributed directly to significant improvements in their clients' business performance. Notably, they assisted a large federal IT and Systems Integration contractor in the capture of business with FDIC, incorporating Shipley capture methods.
Most recently, Mike has taken on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Masters Radio, Inc., which they co-launched with their cohorts. Masters Radio offers new music offerings from artists who led the charts twenty years ago or more, including streaming new offerings and live events.
Mike Duffy attended Temple University from 1969 to 1973, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Philosophy. Mike then pursued further education at Temple University from 1973 to 1977, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mathematical Logic.
