Dee Smith

Dee Smith has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Senior Operations Superintendent and General Manager at Matador Resources Company since November 2014. Prior to this role, Dee worked at Devon Energy as a Drilling Superintendent - Level One Drilling Manager from November 2011 to November 2014 and held the position of Drilling Superintendent at Cimarex Energy from July 2005 to November 2011. Earlier career experiences include roles at Vintage Petroleum, EnSearch - Geothermal, and Santa Fe Minerals - Santa Fe Geothermal, among others, with responsibilities in drilling, completion, and production management. Dee began a career in the industry as a Senior Drilling and Completion Foreman at Kerr McGee Chemical and has a degree in Accounting from East Central University, earned from 1970 to 1974.
