Eric Marquardt

Eric Marquardt, MBA, is a seasoned production engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Production Engineer II at Matador Resources Company since September 2021, Eric previously held positions at Bruin E&P Operating, LLC and Halcon Resources Corporation, where responsibilities included maximizing production value, optimizing artificial lift strategies, and conducting root cause analyses for well failures. Eric's background also includes a variety of technical roles, such as Measurement Technician at Halcon Resources and Production Engineering Intern at Santa Maria Energy. Additionally, Eric served as a Team Leader in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Sergeant and training fellow Marines. Eric holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
