Jim Estes

Jim Estes, MBA, currently serves as Associate Superintendent of Operations for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District, overseeing capital improvement and maintenance for over 70 facilities. With a comprehensive background in operational management, Jim has held roles such as Executive Director of Operations and Director of Facilities within the same district. Additional experience includes participation in the Bond Reimbursement and Grant Review Committee for the State of Alaska's Department of Education and Early Development. Previous positions highlight leadership in military operations as Chief of Current Operations for Alaskan Command and advisory roles to Saudi Arabian institutions during a restructure. Jim holds an MBA from the University of Alaska Anchorage and is pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration in Management from Grand Canyon University.
