Rusty Belanger

Rusty Belanger is an experienced professional in safety, security, and project management with a diverse background spanning multiple industries. Currently serving as the Safety and Security Manager for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District since July 2019, Rusty also holds the position of Western Region Supervisor at Church on the Rock since 2016. Previous experience includes ownership of Revelation Wood Works, where custom woodworking projects were undertaken, and project management at Northstar Electric Company, managing fire alarm and electrical projects statewide. Rusty also held leadership roles at NANA WorleyParsons, overseeing the fire and gas business unit operations, and served as Assistant State Fire Marshal for the State of Alaska. Rusty began the professional journey in loss control at Teck Alaska and holds a high school diploma from Robert Service High School.
