Chris Spencer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2006, they started as an Account Executive at Caselle, Inc. Chris then moved on to Trespen Financial, LLC in 2007, where they worked as an Accounting Manager until 2010. From 2010 to 2018, they worked at Supplemental Health Care in various roles, including Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, and FP&A and Treasury Manager. In 2019, they founded CFO 2.0, LLC, where they served as the Owner. Chris also worked as the Director of Finance and Accounting at Matchwell in 2019.

Chris Spencer received their education from various institutions. From 2001 to 2003, they attended the College of Southern Idaho, where they earned an Associate's degree in Accounting. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2003 to 2005, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Accounting. Lastly, from 2014 to 2016, Chris attended Ohio University, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
