Sam Cheng

Sam Cheng started their work experience as a Photographer at City of Saints Coffee Roasters in 2018. They then worked as a Photographer for Coffee Club at NYU from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, they also served as a Video Editor for EMBODIED Magazine. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Barista at Irving Farm Coffee Roasters. In 2019, they worked as a Farmer at The Youth Farm. In 2020, they had an internship as an Intern at Farm.One, and also worked as a Solar Partnerships & Just Transition Research Intern at Solar One from September 2020 to March 2021. In 2021, Sam was a Farm Apprentice at Eagle Street Rooftop Farm and a Customer Support Associate at Row 7 Seed Company from June 2021 to February 2022. They then transitioned to the role of Community Coordinator at Row 7 Seed Company from February 2022 to May 2022. Currently, in 2022, they are a Marketing Coordinator at Material.

Sam Cheng received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Agroecology from the New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, Sam completed their high school education at Smithtown High School East and earned a High School Diploma from 2013 to 2017.
