Dan Barbis is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in metallurgy and process improvement. Currently serving as a Technology and Innovation Senior Engineer at Materion Corporation since October 2023, Dan has previously held key positions including Sr. Metallurgist at Kymera International and Product Development Engineer at AMETEK Specialty Metal Products. Dan's earlier roles included Casthouse Metallurgist with Alcoa Engineered Products and Plant Metallurgist at Norandal USA, Inc. Dan's expertise encompasses quality control, supplier qualification, non-destructive testing, and statistical process control. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Penn State University.
