Roel Helgers

Roel Helgers currently serves as a Market Economist at Matexi since February 2017. Prior to this role, Roel worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at KU Leuven from October 2016 to February 2018 and held a position as a Wetenschappelijk medewerker at KU Leuven for a brief period in July 2011. Roel's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Economics and multiple Master's degrees in Economics from KU Leuven, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same institution. Additionally, Roel is pursuing a degree in Data Science at Syntra Antwerpen en Vlaams Brabant, set to be completed in November 2024, and has also studied Creating Business Value with AI and Big Data at Vlerick Business School.
