Tim Tschurjumov

Tim Tschurjumov is an experienced educator currently serving as a physics teacher for the NYC Department of Education since August 2014, where project-based conceptual physics is taught to 9th graders and 12th graders, particularly focusing on English Language Learners (ELLs). Tschurjumov holds the position of Master Teacher Fellow with Math for America, providing mentorship and support for STEM educators. Additional roles include teaching science to middle school students at Citizen Schools and contributing as an education mentor at Barnard College. Tschurjumov's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Classical Civilizations and Latin from Binghamton University, as well as a Master of Arts in Adolescent Education - Physics from Relay Graduate School of Education.
