Trent Lyman

Trent Lyman has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Trent currently serves as the Director of Process Development at Matica Biotechnology, Inc., where they are responsible for overseeing the development and optimization of manufacturing processes. Prior to this role, they worked at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies as a Supervisor of Upstream Manufacturing and a Senior Manufacturing Lead. At Elanco, they held the position of Senior Scientist in Technical Services/Material Sciences and was recognized for their outstanding achievement in the development and transfer of viral antigens. Trent also gained valuable experience at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Development Scientist, where they supervised and trained a process development department and developed various cell lines. Before entering the biotechnology field, Trent worked as an Assistant Manager at Fareway Stores, Inc. Trent Lyman began their education in 1990 at Marshalltown Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Trent completed their studies in 1993.

Following their time at Marshalltown Community College, Trent went on to attend the University of Northern Iowa from 1993 to 1997. There, they focused on Biology for Medicine and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
