Afkar Ameer

Afkar Ameer has worked in the software quality assurance field since 2018. In that year, they began as a Software QA Intern at Virtusa, where they reviewed requirements and technical design documents, created test plans and test cases, and estimated, prioritized, and coordinated testing activities. In 2019, they moved to Fixel Inc, where they worked as a Software QA Engineer and Developer. In this role, they developed codes in Android Studio and Xcode, worked with third party source code, and designed, developed, and executed automation scripts. In 2020, they joined VitalHub Innovations Lab as a Software QA Engineer, where they developed and applied testing processes to meet client needs, identified, recorded, and documented bugs, and reviewed requirements and technical design documents. Currently, they are a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Matific.

Afkar Ameer attended London Metropolitan University from 2019 to 2020, where they obtained a Bsc. In computing with a field of study in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Pearson College London from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Computing - Pearson UK with a field of study in Computer Science. In October 2022, they obtained a Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from ISTQB\u00ae - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
