Aaron Dernley

Aaron Dernley has a diverse work experience in the software industry. Aaron started their career at Rockstar Games in 2013 as a Senior Compliance Tester and worked there until 2016. Aaron then joined Missguided in 2016 as a Test Engineer and later became a Junior Front End Software Engineer. In 2018, they worked as a QA Engineer at In The Style and later as a Test Analyst at Gear4Music Ltd. In 2019, they joined Missguided again, this time as a Senior Software Test Engineer. Aaron then joined Matillion in 2020 and has held various roles including Software Test Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, Senior Test Automation Engineer, and currently as a Site Reliability Engineer and Release Engineering.

Aaron Dernley began their education at Chesterfield College in 2008, where they pursued a BTEC National Diploma in Interactive Design. Aaron attended the college until 2010 and then went on to study at the University of Lincoln from 2010 to 2013. At the University of Lincoln, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Animation. After a gap in their education, Aaron returned to studying in 2016 and completed a Front End Web Development Certification at freeCodeCamp in 2018, focusing on computer software engineering.
