Johnathan Law

Johnathan Law started their work experience as a Student Ambassador at The University of Dundee in 2012. In 2014, they had a Software Developer Internship at M2M Cloud. In 2011, they worked as a Microsoft Student Partner at Microsoft.

In 2015, Johnathan joined NCR Corporation as a Graduate Software Engineer, where they developed software for Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and supported new product lines. Johnathan later became a Software Engineer in the systems management organization, focusing on Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and AngularJS. Johnathan then transitioned to a Product Owner role, accountable for various product areas within the company's Systems Management organization. Johnathan eventually became a Product Manager, leading strategic initiatives and addressing customer challenges.

In 2021, Johnathan joined Matillion as a Senior Product Owner, followed by roles as a Group Product Owner and a Senior Product Manager.

Johnathan Law obtained a BSc Hons degree in Applied Computing from the University of Dundee from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued an HNC degree in Computing with a specialization in Software Development at Fife College from 2010 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Johnathan obtained the following: QA Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF) from Qualsafe Awards in November 2022, Matillion Data Loader - Batch certification from Matillion in September 2022, Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in March 2022, Building a Data Warehouse using Matillion certification from Matillion in December 2021, Unconscious Bias, Managing High Performers, and Tech Soft Skills: Moving from Developer to Engineering Manager certifications from LinkedIn in September and July 2020 respectively, and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance in December 2019.
