Konrad Bafia

Konrad Bafia has extensive work experience in the field of sales engineering and technical consulting. Konrad is currently working at Matillion as a Senior Enterprise Sales Engineer, a role they began in October 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Enterprise Sales Engineer at the same company from October 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining Matillion, Konrad worked at MicroStrategy as a Sales Engineer from October 2020 to October 2021.

From 2017 to 2020, Konrad was employed at Aptitude Software as a Sr Technical Consultant. In this role, they were responsible for leading technical consulting projects for a multi-billion revenue healthcare company. Konrad showcased and promoted Aptitude products and technologies to key client stakeholders, developed complex data processes, and provided guidance to clients and development teams for successful implementation.

Earlier in their career, Konrad worked at Bloomin' Brands, Inc. in various roles. Konrad served as a BI Consultant through staffing companies, including The CSI Companies and as a self-employed consultant, from October 2016 to April 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Developer II - Business Intelligence from February 2015 to June 2016. Additionally, they were a Business Intelligence Consultant through Veredus from November 2014 to February 2015.

Konrad began their career at USG, where they held multiple roles. Konrad worked as a Business Intelligence Developer from June 2013 to October 2014, where they developed complex reports using OBIEE and executed testing. Konrad also served as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst from June 2012 to June 2013, collaborating with business units to integrate supplier data and developing automated reports using OBIEE. Konrad's first position at USG was as a Mobile Services and Desktop Support Intern from 2011 to 2012.

Konrad Bafia received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Systems from DePaul University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In addition, they pursued International Business at Linköping University from 2010 to 2011. Konrad has also obtained various certifications, including Matillion Academy | Git Integration within Matillion ETL from Matillion in May 2023, Demo2Win! from 2Win! in November 2022, Matillion Associate Certification from Matillion in April 2022, AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2021, MicroStrategy Certified Architect (MCA) from MicroStrategy in November 2020, and MicroStrategy Certified Analyst (ANL) from MicroStrategy in October 2020.
