Mark Johnston is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Matillion. Mark has held this position since April of 2022. Prior to Matillion, Mark was the Interim Chief Marketing Officer at Domo, Inc. from March of 2018 to April of 2022. While at Domo, Mark developed integrated marketing campaigns, built and leveraged customer segmentation, and worked across corporate and local teams to create compelling campaigns and engagement programs. Before Domo, Mark worked as the Director of Partner Programs at Microsoft from July of 2003 to March of 2018. While at Microsoft, Mark was responsible for transforming and delivering modern marketing capability through the Microsoft channel. This included recruitment and enablement of channel partners across Cloud and Devices businesses, leading a strategic marketing function that delivered strong ROI results in a scalable and accountable way, and driving the technical and sales skills for partners including learning sales channel storytelling and value proposition development for cloud first, mobile first world. Prior to Microsoft, Mark worked as a developer at Kainos Software from January of 2000 to December of 2001.
Mark Johnston attended Queen's University Belfast, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Mark also attended Sullivan Upper Grammar School.
They are on a team with Ciaran Dynes - Chief Product Officer, Dave Packer - President, Worldwide Field Operations, and Shannah Van Winkle - Chief Customer Officer. Mark Johnston reports to Matthew Scullion, CEO.
