Julia Chen

Julia Chen has worked as a Head Advising Fellow and Advising Fellow at Matriculate, a Medical Assistant at Silkiss Eye Surgery, and an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco. Julia also has experience as a Research Intern at LifeLong West Berkeley Family Practice, where they cleaned data and conducted patient outreach for cervical cancer screening. Additionally, Julia has worked as a Student Assistant and Academic Intern at the UC Berkeley Division of Computing, Data Science, and Society, and an Academic Intern at UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences. Julia has also held positions as a Crew Member at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a Project Manager at the Lemelson-MIT Program, a Peer Tutor at the Organization of Student Tutors, and a Teacher Assistant at ALOHA Mind Math.

Julia Chen attended Livingston High School from 2018 to 2022. Julia did not receive a degree or pursue a specific field of study during that time. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, where they are expected to graduate in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and Data Science.
