Alex mac Donald

Alex Mac Donald is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of General Management & Customer Relations at Matrix Design Africa - DataSaint since May 2022. Previously, Alex held the role of Director at Kolari (Pty) Ltd from April 2005 to May 2022, specializing in Microsoft focused IT solutions and services. Alex also owned Cutting Edge IT Consulting for a year, providing consulting services to gain experience outside the Non-Profit sector. Earlier, Alex was the IT Manager for the New Apostolic Church - South East Africa, overseeing IT and administration for over two thousand congregations across six countries. Alex began a career in the South African Department of Defence as a Captain and completed an articled clerkship in Auditing at KPMG. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce in Informatics and Economics from the University of South Africa, alongside a Matric National Senior Certificate from Sir Pierre van Ryneveld High School.
