Richard van der Hoff

Richard van der Hoff is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in software engineering and technical architecture. Currently serving as a Technical Architect at Matrix.org since October 2015 and a Staff Software Engineer at Element since November 2017, Richard has previously held roles including Senior Software Engineer at SwiftServe, Software Engineer at Red Gate Software, and Lead Software Engineer at Voice Commerce Group. From March 2004 to June 2010, Richard worked at MX Telecom as a Project Manager for SMS Gateway and also contributed to telephony gateway development. Richard began a career in software engineering at Ricardo from August 2000 to February 2004 after graduating with a BA in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge in 2000.
