Meng Dharana Jayawardane

Dharana Jayawardane, MEng, PhD, currently serves as Technical Manager Europe at Matrix Polymers, a position held since March 2018, and previously worked as a Research and Development Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as a Research PhD Student at the University of Sheffield from October 2012 to July 2017, focusing on molecular interactions and adsorption at various interfaces. Additionally, Dharana was the Deputy Director of Logistics for the University of Sheffield Engineering Symposium, facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers, engineers, and scientists from 2013 to 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical and Biological Engineering and an Engineer’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, both obtained from the University of Sheffield, alongside foundational education at Colombo International School and Sir James Henderson British School of Milan.
