Donya Stubbs has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Donya currently holds the position of Vice President, Research and Insight at Matrix Sciences since October 2016. In this role, they are responsible for business development, client relationship management, and providing actionable recommendations.
In 2018, Donya joined Virescent Analytics Inc. as Vice President, Research and Insight.
From 2019, they became involved with ASTM International, serving as both Vice Chair and Member in the Committee on Publications.
In Holland Christian Homes, Donya served as the Past Board Chair of the Executive Committee, Care Committee, and Governance Committee from 2017 to 2023. Donya'sresponsibilities included contributing to thought leadership, strategic relationship management, and monitoring CEO performance.
At ASTM International, from 2012 to 2017, Donya held various leadership roles, including Chair, Chair-Elect, and Past Chair/Chair of Strategic Planning/Chair of Awards Committee. Donya played a significant role in promoting knowledge and developing standards in sensory evaluation.
Donya also worked as a Senior Director at Pearl Strategy and Innovation Design Inc. from 2014 to 2016, where they focused on delivering clear strategies and innovation for organizations.
Donya was a Director in the MRIA Research Agency Council and Member of the Standards Committee at the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association from 2013 to 2016, advocating for best practices within the marketing research industry in Canada.
Before that, Donya worked at ACCE International for several years, holding the positions of Director of Consumer Research, Associate Director of Consumer Research, and Project Manager. Donya demonstrated expertise in client-focused consumer research, developing strong relationships, and strategic thinking.
Lastly, in the Society of Sensory Professionals, Donya served as the Publicity/Communications Chair from 2011 to 2014.
Donya Stubbs, CAIP, has a comprehensive education history. In 1989, they enrolled at the University of Guelph and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Food Science in 1994. Donya later pursued further education at the Ivey Business School at Western University in 2006, where they completed an Executive Development program. In 2007, they attended the Schulich School of Business at York University, specializing in Strategic Management. With respect to certifications, Donya obtained the CAIP (Certified Analytics and Insights Professional) from CAIP Canada in July 2019. Additionally, in February 2012, they acquired the CMRP certification from the MRIA (Market Research and Intelligence Association).
