Allyson Bussiere began their work experience in 2013 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan. Here, they assisted graduate students with their research projects and gained field work experience, water quality assessment skills, and knowledge in maintaining aquatic invertebrate cultures. In 2015, they continued their role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Timothy D. Jardine. In 2017, they became a Masters Student at the university, conducting research on the reproductive and developmental consequences of early life-stage exposure to Selenium in fish embryos. Allyson completed their Masters degree in 2019. Currently, they work as an Environmental Scientist at Matrix Solutions Inc., starting in 2020.
Allyson Bussiere completed their education in a field of study related to toxicology. Allyson first pursued a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology from the University of Saskatchewan from 2013 to 2016. Afterward, they furthered their studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Toxicology from the same university, completing their studies in 2019.
