Peter Saalbrink

Peter Saalbrink has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Peter started their career at Ditmeijers' Telemarketing & Datamanagement BV as a Telemarketeer, where they worked from September 2009 to February 2012. Peter then transitioned to the role of Coach Telemarketing at the same company, leading and training a team of marketers until July 2014.

In 2013, Peter took on the role of Treasurer at Cognito Student Union, where they were responsible for managing finances and advocating for student interests until September 2014. Peter continued their involvement in student organizations by becoming the Treasurer of ASVA Studentenunie in September 2014, representing the interests of 105,000 students in Amsterdam until September 2015.

Peter then embarked on a research-focused path, starting as a Researcher at Academie van de Stad Uitzendbureau from May 2016 to July 2016. Peter went on to intern at AMC - Academisch Medisch Centrum, where they conducted research on biological markers of psychosis from August 2016 to March 2017.

In 2017, Peter worked as a Research Intern at the University of Amsterdam, piloting and executing a study on rhythmic predictability and periodicity using EEG for a research project. Peter completed the internship in September 2017.

After their research endeavors, Peter gained industry experience at Coffeecompany as a Barista from April 2018 to January 2019. Peter also worked as a Bookkeeper at their own company, Peter Saalbrink, from October 2018 to January 2019.

Most recently, Peter joined Matrixian Group in April 2019, starting as a Data Science Trainee. From April 2019 to April 2020, they worked as a Data Scientist at the company. Peter then transitioned to the role of Data Engineer from May 2020 to August 2021. Currently, Peter holds the position of Data Lead at Matrixian Group, starting in September 2021.

Peter Saalbrink holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences, which they obtained from the University of Amsterdam between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Beta-gamma, with a major in Psychobiology, from the same university between the years 2009 and 2013. Before pursuing their higher education, Peter attended the Alberdingk Thijm College in Hilversum, Netherlands, where they obtained their VWO degree in the field of N&T between 2003 and 2009. In addition, they have completed several certifications in areas such as PANSS (obtained from UMC Utrecht), Power Searching (obtained from Google), and Sneltypen (obtained from Pica).
