Kimberly Ellison

Kimberly Ellison is a User Experience Designer at General Assembly, currently engaged in a full-time immersive program focused on user-centered design methods, design thinking, and client relations. With a diverse background in customer service, Kimberly has served as a server at Matsuhisa Denver and The Republic Steakhouse, where skills in creating personalized dining experiences and managing guest interactions were honed. Prior experience includes roles as an Academic Coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh, where coordination of faculty recruitment and medical elective programs was key, and as an Administrative Assistant at UPMC, where a recommendation led to a permanent position. Kimberly's professional journey began with an educational foundation in Health/Medical Psychology from Appalachian State University, supplemented by further training in User Experience Design at General Assembly.
