Christopher van Harmelen has been working in the software engineering field since 2012. Christopher started as a Software Intern at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in 2012, then moved to Stanford University as a Summer Research Intern in 2013. In 2014, they returned to JPL as a Software Intern, where they designed and developed algorithms for processing images from the Cold Atom Laboratory's (CAL) scientific measurements. Christopher then joined Boeing in 2015 as a Software Engineer, followed by Liquid Robotics in 2017 as a Senior Software QA Engineer. In 2019, they moved to Matternet Inc as a Software Engineer. During their time at JPL, they collaborated with principle investigator and research scientists on image processing algorithms and submitted a paper to the IEEE Aerospace conference.
Christopher van Harmelen attended Stanford University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
