Rob McGinnis is a prominent figure in the field of environmental innovation and technology. Currently serving as a Global Innovator at the World Economic Forum since May 2022, Rob is recognized as one of 50 Global Innovators at the Davos event. As the Founder and CEO of Prometheus, established in December 2018, Rob focuses on developing technologies to remove CO2 from the atmosphere and produce gasoline and jet fuel. Additionally, Rob founded Mattershift in January 2013, which specializes in carbon nanotube membranes for molecular factories. Previously, Rob served as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Oasys Water from May 2008 to July 2012, working on forward osmosis desalination technology. Rob's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater, both from Yale University, as well as participation in Y Combinator in 2019.
