Timothy Kassis has had a varied work experience. Timothy began their career in 2005 as the Director of Information Technology at the Johann Ludwig Schneller Institute. In 2007, they took on an internship at INTERPOL as a Financial and High-Tech Crime Intern. The following year, they worked as a Mathematics Private Tutor at Club Z! Tutoring, USA. In 2009, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology. From 2015-2019, they were a Lead Instructor and Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2019, they founded and became the CEO of Augence Technologies. Most recently, in 2020, they worked as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer at Matterworks.

Timothy Kassis has a diverse educational background. Timothy began their educational journey in 2003, when they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the University of Nottingham. Timothy then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009, which they completed the same year they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering from the same institution. In 2015, Kassis completed a Postdoc in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Timothy has also obtained numerous certifications from various institutions, including Coursera, Udemy, and Udacity, as well as Harvard Catalyst | The Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
