Max Borchardt

Max Borchardt is an Account Coordinator at MATTIO Communications, where he supports his team with account management, media relations, and administrative duties. He builds and maintains media outreach lists, monitors and updates press trackers with client media placements, develops trend stories for pitching and keeps spirits high.

Prior to joining MATTIO, Max was a writer at Hanson Robotics, an AI and robotics company that aims to simulate human personalities. He wrote for Sophia, the human-like robot, and assisted in the development of a web series starring the world’s first robot citizen.

Located in NY, Max graduated with a B.A. in Film and Television from Fordham University, where he sang and beatboxed for the b-Sides a capella group. Outside of work, Max is a comic writer and artist, as well as a seasoned D&D dungeon master. He loves his cat, Smudge.
