Niall Fitzgerald

Niall Fitzgerald has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Niall is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at MATTR and is responsible for overseeing the company's operations. Prior to that, they worked at Spark New Zealand, where they held the position of IT Strategy and Architecture, contributing to the organization's technological advancements from 2020 to 2021. Before this, Niall held various positions at Spark New Zealand, including Tribe & Chapter Area Lead IT Applications, General Manager Architecture & Design, and Consulting Architect. Niall also worked as the Principal e2e Architect at Chorus NZ Limited and as Lead e2e Solution Architect at IBM New Zealand. Niall founded their own consultancy, Isola Business Solutions, where they provided services to telecom companies, specifically Saudi Telecom. Additionally, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Vodafone New Zealand and co-owned ICMS software development & consultancy at chieftain business solutions (middle east) limited, collaborating with IBM and Saudi Business Machines (sbm). Niall started their career at IBM NZ as an Analyst Programmer, Solutions Architect, and Project Manager. Niall began their professional journey as an RPG analyst programmer at Insight Software.

Niall Fitzgerald attended University College Cork from 1987 to 1990, majoring in computer science.
