Cio Keone Kali

Keone Kali has a strong background in information technology and management. Keone started their career in 1994 as a Senior GIS Analyst at Southern California Edison. Keone then went on to work for multiple companies in various roles, including Manager of Geographic Information Systems at the City of Beverly Hills, Senior Consultant at Psomas, Principal Consultant at Thundergate Multimedia, and Executive Consultant at Keone Kali, LLC. In 2001, they became the Chief Information Officer for the City of Beverly Hills. Keone later moved on to become the Director of Information Technology and Acting CTO at the Pacific Disaster Center. Keone then served as the Deputy Chief Information Officer and later as the Chief Information Officer for the State of Hawaii. Prior to their current role, they were the Region IX Lead for Consultation and Outreach at the First Responder Network Authority. Currently, Keone Kali holds the position of Director of Information Technology, Security, and Privacy (CIO) at Maui Medical Group.

Keone Kali completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in IT Management from Western Governors University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from UCLA in 1994. Before attending college, Keone Kali graduated from Punahou School in 1989.
