Breanna Pletnick

Breanna Pletnick has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Breanna began their career as an Exercise Science Intern at Steps To Wellness Oncology/Hematology Rehabilitation and UVM Medical Center Pulmonary Rehabilitation in 2014, where they supervised and trained patients in cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility exercises.

In 2013, Breanna served as the Vice Chair of the UVM Student-Athlete Advisory Council, acting as a liaison between student-athletes and the university administration. Breanna organized community-building events and collaborated with various organizations to promote community involvement among student-athletes.

From 2013 to 2017, Breanna worked at Rí Ra Irish Pub and Whiskey Room, gaining experience in various front-of-house positions and bartending at the high-end whiskey-centric bar. Simultaneously, they worked as an Indoor Cycling Instructor at Cyclepath, instructing BPM-based indoor cycling classes and promoting the brand through personal social media channels.

In 2015, Breanna joined the University of Vermont as a Program Coordinator for the Wellness Environment. Breanna developed and implemented a program incentivizing healthy habits in college students through a neuroscience-inspired behavior change approach. Breanna also facilitated fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness programs for students.

Breanna joined Cigna in 2018 as an Engagement Consultant, where they conducted presentations and worked with the sales team to acquire and retain clients through a mind-body approach to health. Breanna used consultative analytics to evaluate employers' plan utilization and designed strategies to decrease costs and improve wellness.

In 2020, Breanna transitioned to NeuroFlow as a Health Plan Sales Specialist, responsible for selling the company's healthcare services to health plans. Breanna later served as a Client Executive, managing client relationships and delivering revenue retention and growth.

Most recently, Breanna joined Maven Clinic as the Regional VP of Payer Growth in 2023, focusing on expanding the company's client base and strengthening payer relationships.

Breanna Pletnick obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Vermont, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they also earned a certification in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Behavioral Health in May 2019.
