Senior Software Engineer at Maven Clinic

Felipe Alamos is a skilled software engineer currently working at Maven Clinic since September 2021. With prior experience as a Global Data Scientist at Innovations for Poverty Action, Felipe focused on developing solutions utilizing satellite imagery to enhance the Poverty Probability Index. A background in data science was further developed during a summer internship at ConsiliumBots, where a machine learning-based software recommendation system was designed for educational guidance. As Director of Information Technology at TECHO-Chile, Felipe led a team to modernize technology usage within the NGO. Earlier roles included research assistant positions at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where Felipe coauthored publications in respected journals, and internships in the fintech sector and project management. Felipe holds a Master’s degree in Computational Analysis and Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Additionally, an exchange program was completed at The University of Hong Kong.
