Tom Pydeski, CAP has over 35 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Tom began their career as a Police Officer with the Township of Hillside in 1980 before transitioning into the field of Electrical Engineering. From 1985 to 2003, they worked at Joyal Products, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer, where they supervised technical support staff and was responsible for all aspects of equipment manufacture, including design, troubleshooting, field service, machine programming, and customer service. During this time, they developed expertise in programming microprocessors and PLCs and implemented diagnostic programming procedures to reduce customer downtime. From 1993 to 2005, they served as an Electrical Engineer/Owner at BitWise Industrial Automation, Inc., providing engineering services and programming control systems for automated industrial equipment. Additionally, they wrote software applications using Visual Basic 6.0 and AppForge for palm-based computers. In 2003, they joined F & L Machinery Design, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer, where they designed control systems for offset printing machines, implemented OSHA standards, and streamlined the design process. Currently, Tom works at Maverick Technologies as a Project Engineer, responsible for programming equipment for clients and is assigned to work on-site at Anheuser Busch, Inc. in Newark.

Tom Pydeski, CAP, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 1977 to 1982. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Kean University, completing it from 1984 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Tom Pydeski is also a Certified Automation Professional (CAP) certified by the ISA.
