Melissa Pitchford

Melissa Pitchford is a Research Analyst at Maveris since March 2021, bringing expertise in historical research to the role. Prior to this position, Melissa worked as a Historian at the University of Virginia from November 2020 to September 2021, focusing on the biographies of individuals commemorated on the Memorial for Enslaved Laborers. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Classical and Ancient Studies from American Public University, completed in 2021, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in European History from the same institution, awarded in 2019.
