Trey Daunis, Ph.D. has been working in the technology and research field since 2015. Trey began their career as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas, followed by a Postdoctoral Researcher role. In 2020, they joined Max-IR Labs as a Research and Development Engineer and was later promoted to Vice President of Technology.

Trey Daunis, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University. Trey then obtained a Master of Science in Materials Science from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2015. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2019.
