Angus Wai

Angus Wai has extensive experience in human resources, working for various companies throughout their career. Angus started their career as a Resourcing Manager at Standard Chartered Bank in 1997 and then moved on to become the Head of Human Resources at BOC Credit Card (International) Limited from 2003 to 2005. Angus then joined AIG as the Head of Human Resources in 2005 before moving on to Fairton International Group Limited in 2006, where they served as the General Manager of Group Human Resources until 2018. In 2018, they joined Max Mara Fashion Group as the Head of Group Human Resources.

Angus Wai has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The University of Hong Kong. Angus also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of London. Furthermore, they have a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accountancy and a Graduate Diploma in Business Management, both obtained from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Additionally, Angus has a Master of Arts degree in Language and Law from City University of Hong Kong, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Language & Law from the same institution. In terms of certifications, Angus has been a guest speaker for the Hong Kong Economic Times/Baptist University Minimum Wage Seminar and a honorable speaker for the CUHK EMBA Forum on Talent Management & Recruitment Trends in the Luxury Retail Industry. Angus has also served as a judge for various awards, including the Best HR Award 2019 by CTgoodjobs, the Service & Courtesy Award by the Hong Kong Retail Management Association, and The Hong Kong HR Awards 2022 by JobsDB Hong Kong. Angus has also been a speaker at events such as the Annual Retail Conference - Success & Sustainability organized by the Hong Kong Retail Management Association and the HR Congress organized by CareerTimes.
