Greta Reintjes

Greta Reintjes is a seasoned marine microbiologist with extensive experience in research and leadership roles, currently serving as a Research Group Lead at Universität Bremen since April 2023. Greta has held postdoctoral positions at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology, which has been a part of Greta's professional journey since August 2013. Prior to these roles, Greta completed a Ph.D. in Marine Microbiology from the University of Bremen and participated in various research and educational positions, including Master's Student and Marine Biologist. Academic training began with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Coastal Ecology at the University of Plymouth.
