Laetitia Wilkins

Laetitia Wilkins is an accomplished researcher with a robust background in biology, specializing in evolutionary genetics and microbial ecology. Currently serving as the Abteilungsleiterin Fischerei at Amt für Jagd und Fischerei Graubünden since January 2024, Laetitia also leads a Max Planck Research Group at the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology, focusing on the impact of the Isthmus of Panamá on lucinid clams and their microbial partners. Previous experience includes postdoctoral research positions at the University of California, Davis, and UC Berkeley, as well as a long-term postdoctoral role at UNIL - Université de Lausanne.
