Markus Adam

Markus Adam is an accomplished IT professional with a robust background in software engineering and development. Currently serving as Leiter IT at Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology since May 2022, Markus has previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at BTC - Business Technology Consulting AG from April 2018 to May 2022 and worked as a Senior Developer at SAP from May 2012 to March 2018. Earlier in their career, Markus was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. Academically, Markus holds a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Central Lancashire and a Diplom in Physics from The University of Göttingen.
