Dominic Chi

Dominic Chi is an experienced electrical engineering professional currently serving as the Electrical Engineering Manager at Maxar Technologies since June 2023. Prior to this role, Dominic held various positions at Virgin Orbit from November 2018 to June 2023, including Lead Avionics Electrical Systems Engineer and Senior Avionics Electrical Systems Engineer. At NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, from October 2015 to November 2018, Dominic contributed as an Electrical Engineer focusing on power electronics and prototype development. Earlier experience at Northrop Grumman Corporation involved research and development in FPGA and digital PCB design from August 2010 to October 2015, while a role as a Student Engineer at Boeing from November 2006 to June 2010 included work on test equipment and avionics for the C-17 and B-1B programs. Dominic holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
