May Tassler

May Tassler has over 29 years of experience in the aerospace and defense sectors, currently serving as Director of Software Engineering & Program Management at Maxar Technologies since January 2008. In this role, May leads team collaboration to deliver innovative end-to-end solutions for space and air platforms, focusing on growth opportunities and technical execution, including SAFe Agile transformation and systems integration for national defense programs. Prior to Maxar, May held various positions at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, starting as a Senior Software Engineer & Systems Engineer and later advancing to Site Lead and Senior Systems & Software Engineer. Additionally, May worked as a Satellite Optimization Engineer for the US Federal Government from June 1994 to December 1996. May holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.
